When are meals served?

Meals are served Monday-Friday from noon-1:00PM, Monday-Friday from 6:00PM-7:00PM, and Saturday-Sunday from 5:00PM-6:00PM.

Do you deliver meals?

No, we do not deliver meals. Meals can be enjoyed in the building or taken as carryout. Someone you know can come get meals to bring them to you but we do not have the capacity to deliver meals.

Do I need to sign up to receive a meal?

No! Meals are served to all people, no questions asked. Simply visit the Meal Ministry during serving times to receive your free, warm meal.

How do I volunteer with the Meal Ministry?

We love welcoming new volunteers and working with our community to serve meals to those in need in our community - this ministry only happens because of our volunteers.

If you are interested in volunteering, we ask that you complete the Meal Ministry Volunteer Interest Form. This form will be reviewed and you will receive a phone call to set up a time for you to come volunteer for the first time. Calls will come from our office number (260-200-1372).

Can I donate food to the Meal Ministry?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We heavily rely on donations to make the meals we serve each day. We gladly accept nonperishable items (such as canned fruits, canned vegetables, pastas, etc.).

If you had a larger event with leftover food, we accept these leftovers. We also will accept things like baked goods, meat products, or fresh produce - please ensure items are packaged properly as applicable.

Please do NOT donate items that are expired or will be expiring soon. Always consider if you would eat or not eat something. If it is something you would be cautious eating, you probably should not be donating it.

Food donations can be taken to the Meal Ministry during meal serving times or brought to our main offices (313 E. Franklin St., Huntington) Monday-Friday from 10:00AM-4:00PM.
